  • I'm still alive

Been way too long since my last post on this forum!! I'm still living and breathing and working, lol

I've been living la vida bachelor life, yes I moved out and in with a couple other friends in a Ranch house. All is well. It's a 2 bedroom 1 and 1/2 bath and a 25x36 poll barn in the back which is where my Ranger sleeps at night so now I can detail year round which will help for rent and other misc things around the house. So that's a plus

Anyway, hows everbody been? Any new products or schtuff I should know about? I'm sorry I didn't get back to everyone else sooner since this whole moving out and fixing the house up ordeal. I know, I know some of you are probably thinking "that's no excuse deadman" lol no just kidding

Everytime I come back to my old house everything looks different and by the day my dog is getting more white hairs, lol

Mother says she doesn't have to buy groceries as often and she has some more money to play with, seeing I was mooching off of her for quite sometime needless to say.

I still have my Ranger, just washed and QD'd it the other day and cleaned and dressed the engine last week. An oil change is also in order in the not to distant future.

BTW, When I posted about getting the bypass I decided it's not really worth it seeing my Ranger is 6 years old and it's not a big priority. Hmmmmmm, what else is new,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ah yes I'm working on getting on Class A CDL license to be a trucker. Gonn drive me a big rig sombitch, lol

That also, the trucking business runs in the family and trucking companies are looking for drivers like mad and it's a pretty good money too. I like that sorta thing, being on the road and driving trucks seeing I'm more of a truck oriented person.

Ok, just checking up on my bros, hope to see some replies or familar names hehe. Later,,,,,,,,,,deadman98

Can't help but wonder why the trucking industry is hurting for employees? What kind of money do truckers make at the entry level posistion?

            WoW... $32 / HOUR!?

So, let's see... at that rate...

            $32 / hour * 10 hours/day * 5 days/week = $1600 * 4 weeks/month = $6400 pre-tax/month.

$77K/year approximately (pre-tax). Maybe I should consider giving up this geology gig.

Yeah, but watch out for the Alternative Minimum Tax at that wage.
