In the spirit of "each one teach one" I am always trying to spread the knowledge-I have since I "saw the light" so to speak. I finally saw a little reward from this yesterday. A good friend of ours has shown his car for years. When we bought the vert I looked into a higher quality of car care than I had preiously used-and found megs. So, now we have been using it since 01, and of course bring our assortment to shows. Year 1-we parked next to said friend and about died when we saw him using what looked like Windex to clean his paint!! He also never actually washed/waxed his car. We converted him to QD. Still no washing/waxing, but it was progress-fast forward a few years. He now uses Gc wax, and claybars the car. While at a show with him and some other friends, we saw the gift of megs passed along (the past two years we've given him one of the Meg's special gift packages for Christmas)-well, he gave another friend (who also has never actually washed/waxed his car, just cleaned it off, just learned this yesterday) some meg's items!! I feel so happy that it's catching on and is progressing through the ranks!!

It's pretty cool!
I started by showing people one at a time. Then, I decided to have a detail day for my club; we did 11 cars that day, maybe 15 people showed up.
The next year we thought a little bit bigger, and with the help of Meguiar's and Rod Kraft, we had about 40 people show up...
Then the next year, we thought a little bit bigger, and we enlisted the help of Young's Mazda/VW, and we had about 70 people...
Then this year, we added the help of our local Meg's distributor Jamie Holschue, and with Rod, Young's, and Jamie, we had over 100 people show up!
I still will go over to anyones's house who asks. Cleaning cars is fun, and helping others just makes it better.
TomAs the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.
