I have a 94 black Toyota pickup that is starting to look a little old. I currently used Meguiars Gold Class car wash and I love it. I am looking for the best wax/ and or polish to bring back the life in the paint, especially on the hood. Any help would be appreciated!

Suggested Products for Taking Care of a New Car
It kind of depends how much time / effort you are wanting to put it. It sounds like might just want one or two simple products.
I would go with ColorX followed with Nxt or Gold Class wax in that case. So:
1. Wash - Gold Class is good
2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay Kit(optional, but cerainlty will get good results)
3. ColorX - Worked in pretty good
4. Wax - Nxt, or Gold Class, etc.Last edited by Murr1525; Jul 6, 2006, 07:36 AM.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

If the car has never been detailed before and you have both a rotary buffer and dual/action polisher I would recommend the following:
1. Diamond Cut w/ wool pad and rotary
2. Swirl Free, yellow pad and rotary
3. Speed Glaze, yellow pad and d/a
4. Synthetic Sealant, yellow pad and d/a

If you just want to use one product, just one wax that will restore the "pop", use ColorX.
TomAs the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.
