Hmm....think they are clearing them out to make way for a newer model? Perhaps one that is usable on both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates? -
If you go for a Paint Thickness Gauge, then I would make sure you get one that works on both Ferrour and Non-Ferrous substrates... There's one on Ebay UK (CM8828), its direct from the manufacturer in Germany and is going for around £180 (think thats about $300-$350) and will do both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous paints...
