Personally, I would take a Saleen S7 over any of them. It may not have the top speed, but for half the price, better handling, and quick acceleration, not to mention the good looks, it would be the car for me. Last I heard though, Saleen wanted to add two more turbos, giving it over 1000 horsepower. But I do like the way the Veryon looks, there isn't another car like it.

If i could go with any super car, it would probably be the mercedes-benz, McClaren SLR. I am a really big fan of mercedes and the slr is not too slow either. It has a beatiful body and is very rare, so you will be the only one that has that car within a couple hundred miles.

If I were to choose a supercar, it would be wearing one badge and one badge only - Ferrari. But, I would never buy one even if I could afford it, if I spent that much on a car, I wouldn't want to drive it to its limits and that would just be a waste... I'd rather save the big bucks, buy a little Lotus Elise or Vauxhall VX220 for the track, a Volvo S60 for comfortable crusing and spend the rest on a house! With a swimming pool... and a jacuzzi... and of course, my own personal detailing bays flled with the best qualty detailing products from around the world! Yes, the Meguiars range will be in there!

The thing with the lightwegith little track cars is, while their top speed may be nothing to write home about (though 150mph is quite fast enough to have fun), they are just so alive in you hands... Like a small excitable dog, they flick from one bend to the next, bang bang bang! Plant your foot in a VX, and then turbo comes on song and your catapulted along the straight to the next bend, set the car up, trunin (beautiful crisp and sharp turnin) and blast out. Or if you like, a little flick, dollop of the right foot and wheeeeeeee..... the tails out and its oversteer heaven! An absolute riot, and a compartive bargain too!

And the best bit about the Veyron is VW only built it to see if the could.

Not because they wanted to take on Ferrari and Lambo, just to see if it can be done.

And they're actually seeling them at a huge loss, iirc eac car costs about £5 million to make and they're selling them at £875,000 and iirc only making 80 or 800 (cant quite remember)

              Hey everyone ,

I have a car for the purest of driving experiences. Has anyone heard of the Ariel Atom. It is a 2 seater tube frame, very little body work, 300hp supercharged honda K20. You will never miss an apex with this car cuz you will be able to see the apex before you even turn in.
