  • I have a conundrum...

I have decided to demonstrate my faith in Meguiar's products by getting rid of most all of my other waxes and polishes that I have collected over the years.

This will also make space for the couple of orders I placed recently .

However, I was brought up not to waste anything, which leads me to my conundrum. On the one hand, I'd like to donate all the products (mostly "Finish First" stuff) to friends at work, but on the other hand, I don't want to promote other brands when I would rather promote Meguiar's, which I believe in.

    What would you do?

Use them to detail your fridge, washer, dryer, lawnmower, kids bikes, etc!

Yes, I would say either use them on things that are not as valuable, like a fridge, or go ahead and give them away.

Your friends/co-workers will appreciate the free stuff, and those products may be good enough for them. It is usualy not worth trying to teach other people unless they ask your opinion, advice.

But if they ask why you are giving it away, you can certainly explain why.

I just recently gave all my inferior stuff to my brother. He just moved into his own place and I gave him nearly everything he needed for a starter kit. Between him and his friends they will use it up quickly or lose it somewhere. I just recommend Meg's products to fill the holes.
It would be tough to find enough things to use up a bottle of wax on small stuff. And after all the time you would spend, I know you wish you would've used a bottle of Megs on it!

Give them away and tell your friends/co-workers, that you do not promote these brands, the reason you are giving them away is because you found a BETTER brand hehe

I'd check to see if there is any "hazardous waste" disposal sites that would be willing to take it. Here in Los Angeles, we have several sites that take household chemicals, so that they can be properly disposed of.

This was the only way for me to get rid of all the sample-sized bottles of products that I didn't like.
