  • What did you do on your Memorial Day weekend? (56k=grab a snickers)

My inlaws had a cabin built less then a year ago in a tiny town called Sierra City. Its about 160 miles away from where I live... towards dem' der' mountains. This place is the most relaxing place to visit. Small lakes nearby for fishing.. walking trails everywhere. Strange weather though.. it rained on the way there, we woke up to a few inches of snow Sat morning, Sunday was cold and overcast, this morning (Monday) we were in T-shirts and shorts with the sunroof open on the way home.

This weekend was also our 2nd Anniversary... we celebrated by getting out of town and relaxing.

    Some pics..

First day fishing... it was snowing as we were fishing.

Wow! That is so awesome! Thanks for sharing your day and your pictures! I'm pretty sure my son Rand is going to want to go fishing there when I show him these picture tomorrow! (I know I do!)

No problem guys! Its amazing how a certain setting, mixed with a long weekend, can rejuvinate a person. I feel great.. and to top it all off I got a email from a friend that wants me to detail his Camaro in a couple weeks.

        Good times!

Very nice place and pictures. Thank you very much for sharing with us.

I'm a great friend of nature too. Is it a chipmunk in the last photo?

            Greetings from rainy Germany

                        I just noticed this:

I'm wondering how long it will be before a stray break shot does it in for that window.

I thought the same thing when we started playing. That would be an expensive break... get it.... break as in.. break the balls and a window!
