  • Removing vax

Can someone please give me some help with removing my wax? Need to remove it for trying some #80 on my car and say "bye bye" to the light swirls that are still remaining.
The car has 3 layers wax. 2x gold class wax and Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax.

The #80 will remove the wax on the vehicle's surface due to the diminishing abrasives and trade secret polishing oils contained in the #80.

Yes, the wax is a very thin coating which is a sacrificial layer and will be removed when using an abrasive type of product.
So after you use #80 start rewaxing.

Yeah, I think that there's a general misconception of how thick the wax layer is in the first place. It's just not that thick.

Well then,i had to try the tip and it´s looking good, but not perfect,so i´ve to get me some #83 to finnish it up.

The #80 took about 75% of the swirls.

But the fun part was to "run after" the machine. A new pad and never used the machine before was a huge amusement for the wife and neighbours

Hopefuly im doing better next time with the machine

Any time I bring out the PC, pretty soon I have all the neighborhood kids in the garage. It's fun, but increases the length of time it takes me to do a task by a factor of three!
