Really, I usually don't belive in such things, but I am open to everything if I can get rid of this allergy, it really kills me This year it's worse than ever. Even people without pollen allergy get some kind of reaction this year.

Really. I was not sure myself until I researched it. It's a very interesting medical device. The Chinese have perfected it over thousands of years. Sure beats the drugs and the side effects.
The Chinese believe that the body is one. Western doctors tend to seperate mind from the body. It's all connected. I feel better and have more energy. In fact last year I had a cavity filled with no Novacane, just acupuncture.
Now it will not cure things. It helps the body heal itself.

I know this goes not relate to being sick, but another little slick machine for muscle or back pain is a Transcutaneous Nerve Stimulation (TENS Unit). I had a demo unit from a rep that wanted to sell us one. I hurt my back last fall and I could not sleep even with a heating pad. I had my girlfriend stop into my work to pick it up. That did relieve the pain. All the vicoden did was just knock me out. The TENS unit actually made me able to get up and walk around, but it sure was not too far. I know of a few people what get the accupuncture, but im not sure of the cost of it or how the insurance bills it. I hate needles!! I can poke others, but people get near me with a needle and I start sweating and get dizzy. I would never be a good druggie!

TENS unit is great. I used it on my back with I had spasms. Acupuncture needles do not hurt. They are very very fine. You will get a tingle, called " Da, Chi" as one hits the meridian.

i had accupuncture done on my shoulder after getting a tentus shot in which the lady nurse hit a nerve causing me six weeks of physio just to be able to use it properly and what not.

accupuncture cured it instantly. it was incredible.

and i still feel like ****. but reading MOL helps pass time.
