  • interesting reflection shot

first, this isnt my car, i dont know the owner personally, and i didnt do the detail on the car - i just took the picture (notice the poor quality ).

i thought the palm tree on an exotic was a perfect depiction of the ideal socal life

also i like the perspective of the picture, as cars are not normally photographed from this angle. it really brings out the unique shape of the Ferrari Enzo.

            of course......

and one of the trucks that came up with it. the guy standing at the tail gate is about 5'9". this truck makes unimogs look small.

evidentally it was based off a ford F650 (i think thats right), stretched to accomidate another row of seats (like it wasnt long enough already)

Yep looks like an F-650 Super Crewzer with the 5th wheel set-up removed and a bed installed, and an extra set of doors. I wouldnt want to be the one circling the lot trying to find a space for that monster. Beautiful shots by the way thanks for posting them.

oh and the pictures of the veyron were taken 30 minutes before i went to the meguiars garage for a saturday detail class. what a day that was!

i have seen pics of the gold plated engine before but heres my question: the car has an insane racing engine, so it heats up quickly, wouldn't that melt the gold?

The gold acts as a heat shield. I believe the gold absorbs the heat.

rammsteinmatt, you ever make it out to Donut Derelicts?

I like DD's a lot more than CC's. People are a lot nicer and actually know stuff about their cars.

                              DD is further south, right?

i live up by the 57 and 210, so going to south OC is 50 miles each way, the shows usually start at 7ish, and i have to leave at 6am already to get to CC on time. so between the milage and the time, i can barely get as far down as CC

also euro sunday in calabasas is too far, it seems that im evenly spaced too far from most cool places (even meguiars is 45 miles away )
