How NOT to remove scratches.

Yesterday I was driving home and I see this ad for "auto polishing service".
So today, I decided to call the guy up so he could perform a little "test" on my dad's black Nissan truck.
He goes on and on about the "correct" process to restore gloss and remove scratches from automotive paint, I was playing along, letting him do whatever he wanted.
Anyway after he left, feeling pretty googd about the mess he had done, I pulled out the ol' ScratchX, DC step 2 and NXT combo, layed some tape and corrected half of the "polishing" he had performed.
Have a look...



BTW, if this is the norm down here, I'm seriously considering going into bussiness...LOL

No! just that little smear! LOL!

I too would've loved to seen his face, but judging the guy he probably would've said that was the way the paint was supposed to look.

Heck, his work car was shiny and smooth, but swirled like you wouldn't believe...

Like I said, if most of the "paint polishers" down here work like this.....I'm game !
