  • washing microfiber towels

i was just on adams auto detailings website ......and heard this on there.,.........the guy on the instruction video was saying that they recomend you to wash your microfiber towels in a pot of boiling water for about ten minutes..he said it brings them back to new condition...i was just wondering if anyone tried it?... before i decide to test it on one towel....he also said to never use a fabric softner on them because it cloggs the fibers..

I only wash the micro fiber towel's in the washer. And when you dry them don't use fabric sheet's.

When I wash my microfiber towels I use liquid soap, air dry in the dryer for 30 minutes and then let hang dry.

Oh, and no bleach, no powder, no fabric softner.

        Ditto.

And I don't mix them with anything else. The Microfiber towels are washed together in their own load. No mixing of fabrics, no powdered detergent, no bleach, no fabric softener in the wash and no dryer sheets in the dryer.

I use Cheer Free to wash. I use the option on the machine that rinses the load twice. Then dry on low heat.

I would think that boiling water would be bad for the fibers over the long term.
