MOL Business Cards.

Well, I am tired of digging in my truck for a post it note to write down the URL for the FORUM and ADS. I have decided to make some business cards up to stick over the visor. Seems like at least once a day I am having to write down the URL for somebody.

Nothing fancy just the Names and maybe the URLs.

Hi Jeff,

I completely understand what you're talking about. At one point in time, all of my business cards had the www.meguiars.com address on them.

I found myself continually turning my business card over and writing out,

www.MeguiarsOnline.com


onto the back of it so I could share our forum with all the people I interact with on a day-to-day basis. It was such a pain that I asked and received permission to change the URL address on my business cards from www.meguiars.com to www.meguiarsonline.com

Made perfect sense to me.

and show it to us on this forum and let it judge by Meguiar's

Actually, there are Trademark issues involved here so before you or anyone starts creating their own business cards with a Meguiar's logo or any Meguiar's trademark design or words or terms you should probably get permission first.

I'm going to meet on this topic next Wednesday, so I'll report back then.

If you want to create a business card of your own design but without any Meguiar's trademark designs or names, then in America I think you're free to do this.

Mike I like the idea of a contest to design a business card. The winning design can be posted in a TIFF format, or whatever the printers need. Then whoever wants to get some made can just take that file to their local printer or maybe Meguiar's would like to use an online printer that we can order from...

So how about a contest?????

Let me discuss this idea in a meeting on Wednesday and see what management thinks before we go any further with this idea.

Okay, here's the skinny...

Meguiar's Online is now a car club, just like a Corvette Club, or a Chevy Citation Club.

The Chevrolet Citation X-11





We're working on towards the goal of creating stickers, shirts and yes business cards for all our members.

I know everyone wants their stuff yesterday, but hang tight as we are working on this project.

The business card, stickers/decals and shirts will all have the Meguiar's Online Logo on them.

How's that?

Sounds Great Mike. Looking forward to the new goodies.

Speaking for myself, I wasn't going to put any logos on mine. Just a simple Meguiar's Online as well as the URL. Maybe also my Phone number and email.

I am not in the detailing business but do get asked alot of questions and I like to refer people to The MOL forums as well as the main site. This would just be an aide for me to keep from having to find something to write with/on in my truck when out and about.

Hey! I used to have one of them...I used to refer to it as the "money pit". I liked the car...I sought it out...but just about everything that could went wrong with it.
