  • Shaving Cream

    Hey all!
Recently got married and the boys went all out on my 4Runner-shaving cream all over. Unfortunately, in Florida, the sun is bright and hot early in the morning and this stuff baked on. Anyone have any suggestions on removing? I washed thoroughly, but now I have what looks like latex paint spatters all over my paint and windows...HELP!

    Thanks,

    Joe

I'd try clay first. You might also try laying some wet towels over the areas and see if the soaking for 10 minutes will loosen up the baked-on foam.

Maybe you can get them to feel guilty enough about what they did to have them get your car detailed by a pro.

Certainly sounds like you should start with the basic things, like using clay, and a paint cleaner.

Congratulations to you and your new bride Joe!

On the shaving cream question I do not have a clue but you can bet that someone will know exactly what will work.

            Shaving Cream

Fellas, I tried everything, and nothing worked. The last resort was dabs of lacquer thinner-which took it right off, with some gentle rubbing.

Then, the 1-2-3 Meguiars Paint Cleaning and wax. It looks MUCH better. Geez, what a pain!
