Went out grocery shopping last night. Unloaded the car and went inside. This morning I went out to get the paper and the trunk lid was still up. At least the trunk light was still on. Car started too. Am I the only one who does dumb things?

I have the automatic headlights on my truck but my fog lights have a manual on switch. I have left them on several times over night only to find a dead battery in the morning. So nope your not the only one that does dumb things.

One I found really funny, I was at walmart one day... I was walking in to the store, there was a car with its passenger door wide open. When I left the store(sometime later) there the car was still there in the sea of cars with its door still open. Now if you forget to close your car door in a parking lot your loosing it!

I'm on call 24/7 with the railroad. One night I went to work at 1 am and the neighbors truck was just sitting there idling, I thought it was strange, but What the heck so is he...

Came home at 3:30 am and it was still idling, so I called and woke him up, I asked him how long it takes to warm up his truck and he got pissed for the stupid question at 3:30 am....

When I told him his truck was idling outside, he profusely apologized for getting mad, and said he had started it to charge the battery up, at 9pm. and forgot about it....

We still laugh about it to this day...

Polock: of Polish descent. Also: Polatsk (Belarusian: По́лацак, По́лацк, also spelt as Polacak; Russian: По́лоцк, also transliterated as Polotsk, Polotzk, Polock; Polish: Połock) is the most historic city in Belarus, situated on the Dvina river. It is the center of Polatsk district in Viciebsk voblast. The population is approximately 79,000 residents.

Pollock: Pollock is the common term for either of the two species in the Pollachius genus. Both P. pollachius and P. virens are commonly referred to as pollock. Other names for P. pollachius include the Atlantic pollock, European pollock, lieu jaune, and pollack, while P. virens is sometimes known as the coalfish (or coaley) or saithe. Both species can grow to 3 ft 6 in (1.07 m) and can weigh up to 46 lb (21 kg). This marine fish has a strongly-defined silvery lateral line running down the sides. Above the lateral line the color is a greenish black. The belly is white. It can be found in water up to 100 fathoms (180 m) deep over rocks, and anywhere in the water column. They have a range from North Carolina up to the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Pollock are a "white fish". They are an important part of the New England and North Atlantic fisheries, though less so than cod and haddock. They spawn in late winter and early spring on Georges Bank, off the New England coast.

Jackson Pollock: Artist. (Did not paint fish that I know of.) Paul Jackson Pollock was of Scottish/English descent.

By the way, there is some extremely interesting Polish history. They had as close as you can get to a democracy during the Rennaissance; several centuries before some farmers in North America started writing on sheepskin. They elected their "Kings"; some of whom were not even Polish. And they developed an effective military "weapon", the Winged Hussars. Fascinating reading. They were the gateway to the east and their society and fashion reflected the influences of both western and eastern art and ideas. Really interesting stuff.

When It's raining I'm always paranoid that I might've left the sunroof tilted open, cuz that hardly happens in arizona, but I always run out side an look at the top of the truck in the rain.

We had a gusty day a while back and I never thought about tying down the plastic roll out trash can. So later on I heard it bump into my car and noticed that it had left a small dent in the door, so I decided to lay the thing down on the ground and pull it up near the steps.

                        Mistake!

A little later on I heard another bump. Went outside to see what had happened and an extra strong gust of wind had rolled the garbage can into the right front fender and mashed it in just in front of the door!

I never thought a piece a plastic could do so much damage!......Now I can't open the passenger side door until I get the dent fixed.

Not one of my better days. (<<< I felt like this guy at the time)

The can stays tied up at all times now.
