  • Looks like a rough afternoon weather wise

Ought to be interesting today. Severe Storms Prediction Center in Norman.OK has put Kansas City under a "particulary dangerous situation". We are under a Tornado Watch now. Severe thunderstorms to the west. Golf ball size hail is being reported.
Gonna take precautions. Tornado's are are real possibility. Humidity levels are rising. Get to test out 21's beading ability! My car gets to sit outside.

It's been really nice here. It's very overcast, so I washed the Regal in the middle of the day. However, drizzles have been threatening.

I wanted to head up to the dragstrip today, but the 50% chance of rain has me deciding against it.

I have been checking the National Weather Service Radar.... Keeping an eye on the weather here as well but looks like the more severe stuff is south of Iowa in your area.

That was close. Just as I signed off the tornado sirens went off. Went to basement for 20 minutes. A wall cloud with rotation came over but no touchdown. Looks likes it's clear for now.

                  ah, spring!
It's been close to 70 today, but the downfall of that is we've had 7" of rain since Thursday and the ground is saturated. We are under a moderate to high risk of severe storms tonight and all day tomorrow and have had some whopping thunderstorms last night. Just hope I don't have to hear any tornado sirens going off in the next 24-48 hrs....

We broke our "almost" 6 month dry spell this weekend, and it rained off and on for almost 20 hours. I think the southwest part of Arizona could be heard 3 states away going SLURRP!!!!!

                        Good for you guys!

I've heard about the prolonged drought in your area and the light snowpak in the mountains this year.

It's been rather dry here, to the point that Crowder's Mountain State Park caught on fire.
