For the meantime i have been teaching myself some basic forum editing and html. So far ive managed to register a webpage http://www.cardetailers.com.au and put some basic info on it so i can agree with myself on a layout format. There is no real content except for some photos. The "flash intro page" ive used is from a free site and im happy to pay a small fee to have their advertising removed so it looks more professional.
I've tried to tie things in together by inserting parts to the site that are relative in terms of area. e.g i have the local weather, a couple of links to the local council website (things to do), im debating on a calendar at this stage but it will soon come to fruition eventually
I'd love for some of you to pop on by and give me some thoughts on the layout. what little content there is, is just going to be deleted as it is there to help me decide apon the looks. Custom avatars / buttons perhaps? colours?
