Take the day off! (Hmm.....wonder what Mike would do on his day off....detail his car?)
I usually try to take Sunday off, but time is short this month and a friend of mine needed his truck buffed out and the only day I could for sure squeeze it in was Sunday, which was also my Birthday...
So for my birthday I spent some time with the Joker...
Luckily, Spiderman stopped by to give me a hand...

A big thank you to all of my forum friends for all your birthday wishes, even though I hacked away at a case-hardened clearcoat for most of the day I did have a great evening with my family.

I'm 45 years old. Born in 1961. I was fortunate enough to go through High School when Disco was at it's peak, (lucky me), I graduate in 1979.
The movie Grease came out in 1978 and back in High School I was the only guy in my school with a car that was from the period in which Grease tried to exemplify.
The car they raced in the movie was a 1948 Ford Convertible,
In High School I drove a 1948 Plymouth. Here's the only photo of my car I have on the Internet,
This car isn't mine, it's a 1947 Plymouth Coupe I buffed-out. It gives you and idea of what a 1948 Plymouth Coupe looks like from the side and you can see the resemblance to the 1948 Ford from the movie Grease. (Except the Ford in Grease was a convertible.
All my friends made me take them to the Drive-In theater in my car when Grease was playing. It was fun and ridiculous at the same time. Everyone was trying to look 50's by wearing blue jeans and white teeshirts with their hair greased back...
I grew up in Albany, Oregon and at that time we had 3, count them three drive in movie theaters in the local area. I think I drove my old Coupe 9 times to the movie Grease at the drive-ins that summer...
