  • Anyone on MOL ever on XBOX live?

Just curious to see if anyone did, especially Halo players. Gamertag w0rt w0rt w0rt (zeroes, not o's) here. I don't play as much as I used to, but thought some people here might. Don't have an XBOX 360, not sure if I'm gonna. Nowadays I'd rather spend my money on a DA & pads, 6.5" pads & backing plate set for my rotary, and a gallon of M21 (my current running wish list....oh yeah and a whole slew of MF towels). I hear video games rot your brain anyways....

We have a xbox 360, and a Sony PS2 at work that gets alot of usage. We actually purchased a seperate TV just for the game consoles. I was getting too many complaints that people could not watch TV because they were playing games, so when we re-modeled the sleeping space and day room we swapped the 27" Flat screen for the games and then put the 54" plasma along with the DVD player for the main TV. I mostly play and car racing game such as Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge. Also I play alot of Call Of Duty, those games rock! Nothing like getting into the game and then the pagers trip for a flight! Im hooked on Call Of Duty, I have it on my work and personal computer also. They are too addicting.

I would go with a xbox 360, but I hear they also have a ps3 coming out soon. Im not sure what the differences between PS3 and Xbox 360 are.

          Hey!

I'm on Xbox Live - but with the Xbox 360. I am a tech/gadget geek. I just got it before new years only after I got my new HD TV. The 360 in HD works wonders on the TV! I also have Xbox and PS2. Looking at getting a PSP now to satisfy all the work travel I need to do.

My online name is Das Pon if you want to chat/play games etc.

As for Paramedic's question - it's hard to compare the 2 units now (xbox 360 vs ps3). The PS3 is either launching or debuting in May at E3. From the rumors I've been hearing I think PS3 will allow it's new Blue Ray (HD DVD) technology to be added which will keep the cost very high. ($500ish) But it's too early to tell what they plan to do. Maybe they will do the November release to cut into Xmas again to increase demands.

I just think xbox will lower it's prices on the 360 by the release of the ps3 to cut into their market, or release Halo3 on the same date as ps3 release. I love both systems, I'll get both and continue my love for cars and games.

Here is my new tv - 42" sony 3lcd rear projection tv and set up (xbox 360 with 5.1 dolby is amazing! especially Call of Duty 2!)

            Also note:

March 14th is the release date of Burnout for xbox 360. It's the same platform as the standard xbox, but its in HD at 720p and has excellent graphics - it was said that there are more goodies in it too.

So if you have the 360 but no Burnout I suggest you get it.

            Great game.
