What's with the weather?

I'm in WNY. Today it was 50!!! I actually gave myself the day off and went for a 20mi. bike ride.....in shorts. Then I got back and it was so nice out I washed/waxed mycar. It is January isn't it?

You think you have weird weather, look at how our temperatures fluctuate all the time...LOL It is currently 36 degrees out with wind...bbbbrrrrrrr!!

Same crazy stuff here in Iowa, today 54! Don't get me wrong I am not complaining. 24 days of above normal temps, hard to believe! We had 6-8 inches of snow on the ground prior to the warm weather 24 days ago. People out riding motorcycles, I was out running around at work on a golf cart.

Heh Texas is hot as hell. Well its 75 outside, and were about 1.5 feet in drought. Theres red-flag fire warning out, Burn Bans and all, its a mess.

Were having weekly dust storms too, in DALLAS, not in west texas, but in Dallas. It really ticks me off when I spend a day cleaning my car, only to have to soiled by dust again.

Here it's about 5 C when we should be closer to -15 C. It's RAINING...

The last week of January is usually the worst at -30 C average. Lowest I've experienced here is -38 C I think.

I wonder if we'll have our frozen week this year.

It has rained here 22 days in a row. My truck is filthy. I went to the local spray-n-wash just to rinse off the leaf debris and road grime. We need some sun.......BAD!

We finally had a seriously sunny day, though it has been warm for weeks now. It was 55 with clear, cloudless skies today. Snow predicted tomorrow night, but what can a guy do?

It's been a roller coaster around here. Mid 50's today, rain, sleet, and snow tonight. Big warm up this weekend. Go figure. Maybe another storm next week.

My area is also going through some very unusally warm weather!! It should be in the negative temperatures, but it is not. It was actually FAR colder in November and December! Weird!

We're the same here in Okie land. In my county last night there were three separate fires that scorched 15,000+ acres and took at least 20 homes not to mention out buildings. With 30mph winds with 50 mph gusts it doesn't take fire long to cover a lot of territory.
