Congrats on the new family member, that's a nice looking cat.
Likewise we obtained two new members of the family during Christmas, Miss Prissy and Miss Precious. These are both pure bred Persian kittens. Here's Rand my son holding both of them post-Christmas...
I'm more of a dog guy with a bias towards Boxers, but I can appreciate cats and those who love them.

We found an abandoned litter of three and took care of them all until about 4 weeks old. We ended up keeping the little guy below. We gave the other two to an animal hospital who was going to raise them until they were about 10 weeks old so they can get their shots/spayed/neutered and then place them.
I have a shot of them all in my hands which I have to dig up.
Here's "Stache", note the white "mustache":

FromThisSoil: That kitten looks JUST like the one my sister found in the road! It was just sitting right in the middle of the road so she brought it to me and I took care of it until the shelter opened on Tuesday. It was so young I had to feed it every three hours, so I couldn't keep it. SO adorable though. How old were those when you found them? Did you have to feed them really often too?

Not to go off-topic, but that's a pretty interesting picture of that Caddy, Mike. Is the difference in the paint color between the door and the underhood parts from age, or from a repaint? And is that a big metal vacuum reservoir?

After yanking the front clip and engine, I rebuilt the front end and then stripped the firewall and repainted it a Metallic Rosewood only a tint darker than the original color. The color you see on the door is lighter because it's oxidized, but also because the door was repainted at some time and it wasn't a good match.
The tank you see is a vacuum reservoir with a vacuum line that runs directly to the power brakes and "T's" to the intake manifold.
The 1960 Cadillac has very beautiful fins, much like the 1959 and this was going to be family cruiser when it was finished.

All three of the kitten were about 10 days old when I found them. They had to be fed something like every three hours. I fed them pretty much whenever they started crying. Bottle feeding 3 kittens and "helping" them go to the bathroom is not easy chore.

NO kidding. I hated having to "help" it use the bathroom. And then even just cleaning it's face after it got the formula all over itself was a chore.
