Yesterday was nice so I went ahead and washed then applied DC #2 and DC #3 with the DA. Even went on ahead and dressed all the trim, tires wheel wells and cleaned the glass. Good day!
Well, today I was hoping on hitting it with a 2nd coat of DC #3. Sun is up, so I figured it was above 32 so I should be OK. Broke out the leaf blower to get rid of the dust. Then I broke out the meg's Duster. All went fine. Then came the QDer and the QD PAD. Hood went well, sides went well. I was on a roll.
Then came the roof. Well, evidently the wind chill played a factor. Had quite the nice little bit of ice forming after applying the QD. Took me 5x as long to gently try to remove the frozen QD.
Well, thats enough of that. Put that one away in my lesson learned file. Pay attention to WindChill factor when trying to QD in the cold. Not even about to try that 2nd coat of DC #3 now.
