I try to keep it above freezing, but have on occasion had the water freeze before I dried off the car.

i have a heated garage but i still wont wash below freezing because the driveway freezes and it just creates more work for me or my DadNick

Anything above freezing. I wash my car inside the garage with ONR and sometimes steam as well.Comment

Since the only place I can hand wash my cars is at my parents house, my Dad will not allow any car washing unless the temperature is over 40 degrees. He doesn't want the driveway freezing up and I can't blame him.Comment

I'll wash if its over 40 and the wind isn't to harsh. I do cheat a little. I use a pair of RedHead Neoprene Waterfowler's Gloves that i got at Bass Pro Shop. I had a gift card that i got for xmas and since i am not a hunter, this was the perfect way to use my card and still feed my car care addiction. The 13" pair comes up over my forearms, and while they are not 100% water proof my hand have never gotten cold. just make sure to put them on before your hands get cold and wet. Hey, looks like they are on sale now for $14.94 too.Comment

Wow Tim, have ever slipped and fell on your driveway while washing in temps like that? You're really brave! I couldn't imagine the ice on the driveway after the washing.Comment

I usualy will only wash with temps above freezing.....
A few weeks ago a QD'ed with temps around 10 degrees.....that was fun timesComment

If its mid-morning to mid day I'll use regular temp water, but if its early morning or later in the evening, I will use warm water. Say! does water temp make a difference to the soap or washing the dirt off of the car? Just wanted to know.
