I had a cavalier painted by a school shop some years back. It was black as night and they had all the decals off. After I saw it clean I never had them put back on. I just took the tC off my scion last week and it does make the car look cleaner. The cool thing is relocating it to the interior and it looks factory installed! I do have my car club logon on the back side windows though. I think it really depends on the car and placement. Like what was said above, it needs to look very clean. If the car is for show then the stickers should be setup to look right and to accent the car kind of like puttin on matching clothes. If you start sticking them all over the car and the car it self doesn't fit well then you have a problem.

just registration, association, gate pass stickers for me...so far.

I have three on the back of mine. Russell surfboards, Huntington Beach, and obviously, Meguiars.

for me it depends on what the decal is, I own a 1998 Grand Prix Daytona Pace Car, it has specific decals on it designating that, those will stay on the car. I don't add stickers to my car for parts I buy, although I do welcome decals from products I buy, I cover my tool box with them.

I don't care for decals, stickers, engine advertisements, engine technology advertisements, trim advertisements, sponsorship advertisements, Nascar/Floridian city advertisements, club/crew advertisements, bumper stickers, or aftermarket product advertisements (That's the worst!) just to name a few.

I guess a big part of my appreciation for a car lies in its shape, design, or color--not the tacky add-ons and advertisements which only distract and detract from the appeal of a car.

I can probably deal with a manufacturer's badge and maybe a model badge, but nothing beyond that, please .

nothing and I mean NOTHING. I don't even like inspection/registration stickers... Or those little defrogger lines. I'm glad my Caprice car was not equipped.

I like only one or two on a truck. This is all I have on the Dodge and one tiny Ohio State picture on my Beemer.........

The only decal I have is for Vanderbilt University!!!! I prefer to have no decals, but I love my Commodores!!!
