Well, its good, but it obviously is the cheapest. You get what you pay for, so the others look a bit better, last a bit longer, etc. It is an entry level wax, so it is a nice, easy to use product.

I agree with Murr.... it is a good wax, inexpensive and easy to find. In the consumer line I reach for NXT.

I primarily use the Cleaner Wax or NXT. Although I like Eagle One NanoWax too. :ducks:

When I first returned to megs, I used the gc liquid. That what has reeled me in to everything megs. Then i started using #21. Last Friday I washed the car was not happy afterwords. So I hit my car with a pass of #80. Went to reach for my #21 realized I was out, (waiting on my order from ads). All I had was my gc. Applied with the g100 for my lsp. I am very happy with this combo.

my other question was going to be about cleaner wax. since u mentioned it how do u like it? does it hold up well? does it give great shine specially after washes? also i herd that the 3 in one combos work but are not as efficiant as to if u used all seperate products.

              - o and it says clean, polishes, and protects. when they say clean, do they mean like a paint cleaner for below surface contaminents?

              - and i guess ill ask. how is that eagle one?

Deep Crystal Carnauba wax is a premium car wax relative to it's competition at the retail level, that's like saying it's better than the rest of the products that are similar, (pure wax no cleaners), at the suggested $6.00 approximate price level.

It's not a straight Carnauba wax but instead is a blended wax.

                From this thread...

The Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax is a pure wax in that it contains no cleaners, contrary to common misconception it's also not a straight Carnauba wax in that if you read the back label it states that it is a blended wax. From the label,

                :
                This unique formula uses:
                • * The highest grade of Carnauba wax
                  * An exotic blend of nutrients and conditioners
                  * Rich polymers and exclusive resins
By blending key ingredients, like the highest quality Carnauba waxes available, with the right polymers, silicones and other resins, Meguiar's can offer their customers waxes that offer the best of both worlds - Beautiful results with long lasting, durable protection.

We have better waxes but Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax is a still a premium quality pure wax that will provide great looks with good protection.

Meguiar's cleaner/waxes work phenomenally. When we say they clean, polish and protect that means they clean the paint, i.e. remove staining, oxidation, and in some cases light swirls and scratches, they polish because we're Meguiar's our products have our Trade Secret polishing oils that bring out the gloss and beauty of paint, most cleaner/waxes just clean and protect. And last but least our cleaner/waxes protect, so yes they work great, yes they work better than competitor's products and usually lower cost and the shine up the paint phenomenally.

Even if you are doing a multi-step process using dedicated products to the exterior paint, cleaner/waxes come in handy for door jambs and any other out of the way places with paint, like the paint instead the edges of where trunk lids and hoods close. For areas like these you usually don't' want to do a multiple step process so you want a product that cleans, polishes and protects in one step.

Pick up some ColorX or Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax, they should be in everyone's tool box.

i was looking into the colorx, and i read a post that had used it on there car, but i figured it was more for a more oxidized paint job or i need of color. plus i cant find it in stores.

Don't get me wrong coz I have the Nxt avatar. I just like the shinny logo. I really love DC3 carnauba wax. My vote is for DC3 coz after applying DC2+DC3 on my car, I was blown away with the results. It looks much better than any wax that I often used. The paint was really glossy and reflective. It's easy to use and work with. It's cheap and lasting. I also love the smell of the product. Nothing one can ask for more.

I've used the A Line Cleaner Wax a lot and love it. So what if it's 4.99.......its a deal! It really works and smells good too!

No doubt NXT would be my favorite out of the consumer line, but all of them are great imo.
