who think there should be chatrooms on MOL. maybe even video chat but thats a little to much. there should be chatroom based on products etc, just like the forums.

Not a big fan of chat rooms, but would like to see what other people say?
Actually only been in a chat room twice, once on Autopia and was bored in a few seconds and left, anther time just to snag screen shots to use in a Power Point Presentation to show the difference between a "Chat Room" and a "Discussion Forum". -

Anyway... as I said before I don't care for chat rooms. I think a forum can act as a chat room you just need someone on the other end to chat with (just like a actual chat room) and as mentioned above everything is documented for anyone to come back and look at or reference again.Brandon

From a Moderator's point of view, chat rooms are a nightmare!
Remember, Meguiar's is a family friendly forum, and you just know, someone would lose their temper or say something incorrect about CC finishes for example etc leading to a big dispute that must be moderated and dealt with.

Chat rooms are horrible to moderate. Also, they tend to go off topic easily, and might head to touchy subjects such as religion or politics.
As gb387 said, forums can act as chat rooms anyways.

Nah, I hate chat rooms. I use to do it when I was in my early twenties, but not anymore. I would like to see some Meguiar's classes on line though.
