I'd rather not have pictures in signatures, makes the whole thing messy and difficult to follow IMO. Other sites i go to allow pics in signatures and these really slows things down (even with broadband).
What's it going to take to get pics in our signatures? I don't see it being an issue as long as the signatures size (picture + text) is limited to 600x400.
Such small pics shouldn't affect browsing, considering just about EVERYONE has broadband now.
Another reason to have pics in sigs is that we get to see what everyone drives and how shiney their cars are. I know everyone here loves their cars and would love to show them off in their sigs if they only had the chance.
Having pics in the sigs would make this site so much more interesting. Just TEXT TEXT TEXT is so dull. Sig pics break up the monotany and make the forum more enjoyable.
Would you other forumers like pictures in your signature?
P.S. I created this post to look like what a post on another forum looks like, reply + signature, exactly as it looks on the other site.

I wouldn't mind having a picture in my signature. I would keep it small to avoid a big mess though. I used a picture of my car as a link to my website on my Escort site. If we are not allowed pictures, I'm okay with it. I'm just glad the site is up and running better than ever. Pics. in sigs. are a bonus, but not a necessity.
Keep pictures out. Of the main message board/blog type sites I visit daily, none have pictures in the signatures. It is annoying to have someone respond, "yes, i agree" and then see a huge picture of their car. Then have the next person do the same. After years of dew drops on my freshly waxed car as my avatar, I changed about a month ago to a full picture of my car. I like the avatars and that's it. Keeps it clean and simple.
