      Agreed! Not cool at all! Can we get a ban here? This is the last place we need thieves and liars. I for one respect the amount of control there is here on MOL, and I hate seeing people come in here and try to mess it all up.

        Funny, in that thread the guy says something like "I refunded your money, so no harm done"...

        Unfortunately, in contract law, there was an offer and an acceptance and payment was even made in furtherance of acceptance.

        Sounds like a binding contract, which the seller breached. So, the next question would be, what are the buyers damages?

        Well, lets assume the buyer went out and bought another machine (same kind) and had to pay $200 more for the machine or lets say he couldn't do those two "jobs" he had lined up and lost $800, well, he would have tangible damages ($200 in the first example, $800 in the second).

        Food for thought.
