It's a bit more than a dollar, more like $7 after shipping. But, I don't disagree on your point about helping a fellow MOL member, we are a free market society after all.

We let me tell you about Jeremy Stevens.........

I first met Jeremy when he called me up to ask if I would be interested in tag teaming an over sprayed car with him.

This young man is a father, a small businessman, a detailer - http://stevensdetailing.com/, a product supplier - http://www.shinesupply.com/, very hard working, extremely fair, ethical, of absolute high character and a fellow believer in Jesus.

I've never heard him cuss or put anyone down. I have seen him be a great example for his kids to follow and put 200% into his endeavors.

Jeremy is a rare breed and somebody I am glad I cross paths with on occasion!

Any time you start a sentence with the words "no offense but..." you problably should'nt say anything at all. With that said my friend I'm not offended just giving you some words of wisdom.

The blue Meguiars clay retails for $31.99. I'm offering it at -$11.99 off which is an excellent discount. Lastly, to echo what my fellow Forum friends have stated, We are all here to help each other out.

What is wrong with you guys????

IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY DON'T SAY IT AT ALL. Unless somebody posts a complete steal that is the cheapest anywhere by atleast 75%+ you all complain. If you can get it cheaper, then get it cheaper, don't be a smart mouth and drive away business. People like this don't deserve to have access to the internet.

I know it's a bad idea to walk on someone's for sale posting and this is exactly what I did. For that, Jeremy, I apologize. But what about the flip side.... a MOL member paying much more then current retail price of the item without knowing? Is this fair to those MOL members?

Perhaps Jeremy did not know about the current price of the clay. Perhaps knowing this he might want to lower his price a little. This is up to him. I just thought that a buyer should be informed.

I don't think it's necessary to post comments about lower prices, or links to the sites selling the product as proof. We all know how to use the internet to check prices, and to see whether a better deal is out there at Amazon, ADS, etc. For those who don't want to take the time to check, then the monetary difference is likely inconsequential.

Perhaps the best course of action is to send the seller a brief friendly and confidential PM that lower prices are available over the internet. Then it's up to the seller to decide if he wants to adjust his price. I have PMed fellow members in the past in such a manner, but only if I was genuinely interested in buying their item.

Now, enough hijacking of the OP's thread! Let Jeremy get back to selling his clay!

All right guys, let's all just calm down. Stevens Detailing is offering a product at a very good price, and there's no rule stating that items sold here have to be the cheapest on the Internet. It is very bad form to post in a "for sale" thread that the product can be had for pennies less elsewhere.

We are not inclined to close a thread where someone is trying to sell something, but we don't want this sort of discussion taking place here either.

Hopefully the next post here will be someone offering to purchase the item.
