Just some food for thought...when it comes time to sell your ranger, you might want to put the stock one back in because either the buyer might want it or you might want to pi your aftermarket one into your next car.
That's what I'm doing with mine, the guy at best buy told me about it.

Does this unit have an internal amp? In other words will it play out on a bench with just speakers added. The reason I ask is I have purchased ford radios in the past to put in my Sterling (ford) semi-tractor and found that I needed to run them thru a ford amp to make them work.Others were self-contained (internal amp)and worked fine.
