Just a quick note,

The For Sale or Trade forum is a forum for our members as a service to them, if it is abused, posts will be removed and the forum will be closed.

The reason I'm posting this is because you are a new member and at the time of my post, you have 7 posts and they're all for selling items.

7 posts, all of them about selling

It would look better if you were a member with lots of posts asking questions about detailing, or answering questions about detailing as that is the TRUE focus of this website, so this is just a friendly note to you not to abuse this forum as an avenue for sales as that is not the intended purpose.

This would be a post made after the first 7 posts were made all selling stuff. In other words, after the trend you set. We can only make a judgment based upon your posting habits.

For example: When a Spammer joins our forum, their first post is to try to sell something, usually electronics. All posts they get away with after that, (until they're caught and removed), are also Spam posts.

The start a trend that we can judge them by and it's pretty easy to see they're abusing our forum for commercial reasons.

You join, post 7 times, all selling stuff.

We, as the Admin, find your 7 posts and then chime in on your thread and in a friendly manner, simply pointing out some etiquette for the "For Sale or Trade" forum.

We never claimed you were planning on abusing our forum to sell your wares, I just went by the trend you set. So don't take my friendly post about how your posts are/were being viewed as anything more than what they are.

When people join any forum and the first thing they do is make a post to sell something, it set's our radar screen off. We're sure as a member from another discussion forum you can understand this.

We're happy to have you as a member and we're even happier you're a participating member helping others to get the results they're looking for with your detailing experience.

On a personal note, we don't really like playing Moderator, we prefer answering "How To" questions, these are two completely different jobs.

Your first 7 posts were not troubling, be we were keeping an eye on your trend. We run a tight ship here on MOL, just a like all great forums do. We think if you examine our posting history on this forum and any forum you'll find the majority of all our posts are helping people to get the results they want, not playing the role of a Moderator, or Forum Police.
