  • For Sale New Dynabrade Random Orbital Head kit

I have a brand new Dynabrade 8" Random Orbital Head kit, only time is has been opened was to take this picture. Has 5/8" female threads for the Rotary. Asking $100.00 shipped to the US only. Selling it because I have two of them, this thing works great on the rotary, requires 8" pads. Shipping is included in the price for UPS or USPS ground only.

George was trying to get it to accept a 6 inch pad.

      Any luck George?

Any 6" backing plate that fits the porter cable will fit the dynabrade, however, YOU MUST USE THE PLASTIC WASHER that comes with the backing plate. A 5" backing plate will not work, it will cause the machine to cut into the edges of the pad. The machine will vibrate a bit more(not as much as a PC) but it will also cut more with the smaller pad. You can also cut the original backing plate down to size.

I almost decided to sell mine until I got the 6" backing plate thing worked out(wasn't using the washer) and now you'd have to pry it out of my cold dead fingers

If you remember I never really messed with it before I sold it to you. Maybe I should buy another.

It runs circles around the PC, especially for finishing work.

                    Thanks.

I had one for a small while then sold it. I feel like I didn't try out good enough before I sold it.

                    Why did you sell yours?

                      Hey Joe,
I ended up with two of them, decided to keep one and sell the other. I do like mine, although on a rotary it's pretty heavy, it does break down polishes a lot faster than the PC does. I use mine quite a bit.
