Were any of your car pics taken with this camera, and what year is it from? I'm not too good on what all the specs mean. Is it pretty up to date technology wise?

All of the car pics I've posted on MOL have been taken with this camera. It does take beautiful pics. My reason for selling is that I want a camera that takes nice videos and nice photos at the same time (one of the newer high-zoom point and shoots). This particular camera only does 40 sec video clips, where as the new ones take as much video as the memory can handle!

All pics were taken w/ camera set to Auto and have no post-pic processing (ie photoshop).

I believe I bought this camera Spring 2003 (may have been spring 2004). Aside from the short video capabilities, I would say that it is as up-to-date as you can get for a point-and-shoot digicam.
