I had the pleasure of attending the SJC Rotary/CARE Show Yesterday.
While there I attempted to photograph the "Oh so transparent" ghost flames on this beautifully prepped chopped 50 Merc full custom.
I could see them in the camera, yet not catch them in the image.
The paint was so magnificent with very high reflective properties. The overhead clouds reflected on the top surfaces hiding the detail. Check out the side reflections. Then let your eyes go upward following the body curves as the detail of the clouds reflect deep into the paint.
