So after making the trip to Irvine to attend a Saturday Class and a TNOG at the Meguiars H/O, I went back home with increased enthusiasm to help get a local class up and running.
Having a good relationship with the local Meguiars distributor, I arranged a meeting with the Regional Operation Manager and set out my vision for the local detailing classes. He was happy to support me in my efforts and working closely with the rest of the local Meguiars team we confirmed the details and schedule for the rest of this year.
On Saturday, 9th October, the first class was held and was a great success. Due the venue constraints, our classes are a lot smaller that those in the USA, but we had a great response and turnout and we look forward to our next class in November.
Some photos from the day:
Me doing my Mike Stoops impersonation

Using a black BMW of one of the attendees as the subject of the practical session. Here we are evaluating the surface before claying.

Inspecting our test spots after some hand and DA work.
