Looking for Show cars for a Charity event in SoCal
Hello everyone,
I help plan events for Orangewood Childrens Homes orangewoodfoundation.org , the only emergency shelter in Orange County for abused Children. Several people I know from Mustang forums suggested I post here. I'm also a local director for the Black Mustang Club and I know that we have had a few detailing events with Meguiars.
This year my team of volunteers are organizing a special Christmas celebration for about 160+ youth with many activities, live acts, presents, and terrific food. We would like to have a few awesome looking cars (import or domestic) on display for a special treat for the kids. The event is on December 13 and we would probably need your car from 2pm-9pm at a location in the city of Orange so we can set up around your car to the end of the celebration. The theme is going to be a New York Christmas.
Please pm if you would like to help out or donate to the event! It is a fantastic experience and a great cause.
We are hoping for the owners to hang out with the kids as well. To give you an idea of what we do:
This is a full-blown prom that we organized with a fairy-tale theme (no teens shown due to confidentiality issues):
It was fully catered by a hotel in Irvine and there were several dance performances including guests from MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Dresses and Tuxedos were donated and Hairstylists/makeup artists came in to dress up the teens for an unforgettable experience.
