  • World's Largest NXT Bottle (56k warned)

I was up in Auburn, IN, today for the Auburn Cord Dusenberg Festival as well as the Kruse car auction.. Similar deal to Barrett-Jackson. The Meguiar's 18 wheeler was on hand.

They were selling what looked like every single Meguiar's car product. But the prices were full retail, so I didn't pick up anything. I thought about asking the guys to say hi to Mike, but they were all busy talking to customers so I moved on.

Heh, this was parked right next to the truck

Looks like he coulda used some of the Meguiar's products. C3 Vette I think it was.

The rest of the images are here if you'd like to look around. Lots of neat cars!

Here's some more pictures from my day

    Auburn

    Cord

Fenced off area of the auction... really couldn't find a way to get close to these cars

Less than 10,000 original miles on this puppy

    Pair of matching Mach 1's

    Pair of Cobra replicas

    Another replica

    GT40 replica

I think the sign side this was a replica (can't imagine a real one being there), but they weren't actually selling this car, but one of the 12 "new" ones that are being made

    Engine with a car attached

Plaque in front of that car.. :eek4:

A bumper car! No, really! It was a car made entirely of car bumpers over a VW chasis. The sign on it said something about it being made up by some artist who has an infatuation with car bumpers!

Sorry, too lazy / tired to caption pics that need captioning.. Just got em off the camera, resized, and uploaded. Might do some of them on Monday.

Cool pictures, looked like a really fun show. Ow, the Vette at the top is a C4 not a C3. I recognize that evil window!

              Labor day weekend each year!

If you do decide to go next year, go on Saturday. That's when the Auburn Cord Dusenberg parade is.. Seeing all those old cars parade by is just awesome. I've seen a couple of em let a gap build and then get on it to catch up to the pack. Hearing those old engines roar to life is just something else! Afterwards, they're all lined up around the old courthouse for you to get a closer look at.

Heh, the auction is pretty cool too

Excellent! I'll definately have to put this on my calender for next year. I was talking to a co-worker about it and he's been a few times as well. Like you, he said it's pretty incredible.

nice pictures. funny how that swirled vetter was next to the meguiar's truck. coincidence?

and i loved those mach1's, cobra and gt-40 replicas! although i was quite shocked to see the gt-40 and other cars on a muddy ground.
