  • Hot Shine is da bomb!

I use the Meguiars Hot Shine trigger on a sponge. No wipe. I use the spray at car shows for the Pilots tread.
    Nice satin finish.

ive been using it since it was 1st introduced.....i love it, and i have tried a few others......nice look to it...doesnt sling off....and lasts a long time, ie maintains the look of a new tire for longer than ive experienced w other products....
havent actually measured how long tho....just know im satisfied, and cant see a reason to try anything else from now on.....

I had been using Endurance and liked it a lot, but application was hard because of all the texture in the sidewalls of the tires. I felt like I basically had to paint it on. Aeorsol Hotshine goes on in about 5 seconds and looks great. Seems to last, too, but my tires are new and that may make a difference. Overall, I think Hotshine is the new tire dressing of choice.

my wifes car has textured side walls and my truck has lugs on the side wall. I loved the endrance, but it was difficult to apply, the more I use hot shine the more I love it. doesn't hold up as good as endurance, but for the ease to apply it's worth a couple of extra apps a year.
has anyone noticed in the stores that some of the hot shine w/ tigger is cystal clear, and some are a light yellow? I've seen it in two stores in my area. does this mean anything?

Does this dry to the touch pretty quick or do you have to wipe it off to prevent tire sling?

I would say wipe it just to be on the safe side, but I havent had a problem with sling at all.

No I am no longer a member of Force Recon or USMC anymore. I served from 1990 to 1998 then got out. Force Recon Association is a bunch of former Force Recon people who like to stay in touch. I didnt wanna get out but the wife didnt like the life style and I kinda wanted a normal family life so I left it.

Hey Force Recon.....the "stuff" dries quick in 15 mins and stays on and does not sling around like Endurance does. I put it on my aunts SLK roadster in Las Vegas and after two months.....tires covered in dust from the desert but its still shiny where the Hotshine is and no dust is sticking on it. Its also waterproof too. Hope that helps.
