  • Ultimate Wash Mitt Application

I bought this item 1 month ago and had been using it for every wash. I found it too big for my hand and it's quite tiring to use it. Today, when I washed my car, I found a new way to use it. I hold it externally and apply car shampoo as if I'm holding a sponge. The only thing I need to do is to flip the sleeve to prevent it from touching the paintwork. Now I can wash my car faster and more confident. Anyone does this?

I also found it very large but it seems to work well for me... BUT if I am in a hurry I will hold the outside of the mit as you do is is a little faster just pull it out of the bucket and go!

      Hey Zey,

I kinda do it that way except, I hold the sleeve with my fingers while doing the horizontals and like you do on the verts.

I guess the reason I hold on to the sleeve is to minimize excess pressure on the mitt (it's own weight is the only pressure). I guess it would minimize scratches but have no way of really knowing it does but do it anyways.

        zey,

I do it all the time. It works great. It's easy to use both sides of the mitt that way and I have bike racks on the roof of two cars, it's the only way to clean underneath them.

Hmmmmm......And I thought I was the only one that held wash mitts from the outside.

I guess that's what I get for thinking.
