  • Quik clay - can you buy the bars separately?

    Hi,

Just a quick question regarding the Quik Clay package (containing a small clay bar and a bottle of the Quik Detailer).
Can you buy the clay on it's own? I accidentally dropped the claybar on the ground which is pretty dirty and doesn't look like it can be restored, but I have plenty of Quik Detailer and no real need to buy another bottle of that just for the clay.
    Thanks!

You would have to buy the mild detailers clay from the professional line. It is a bit more expensive, but a much bigger bar.

Also, in the future, you may want to cut the bar into 3-4 pieces, so if you drop one, you arent out of luck.

It is not available by itself. The white Quik Clay is still cheaper on a per-gram basis than the larger blue mild bar, even with the QD included. The other nice thing about the white bar is you can see everything it's taking off, where some light colored contamination can be slightly obscured by the darker colors of other bars.

I think it would be a good idea to offer Quik Clay bars individually.

Someone needs to suggest that in the New Products Suggestion Forum...

I recently bought a new Quik Clay system, and the wrapper around the clay bar had a product number on it... Maybe someone on here has it?

It's normal for every item in a factory to have a number, bulk product, an empty wrapper, an empty bottle, a cardboard box and groupings of items will further be identified with numbers. It's necessary for organized manufacturing. Only a fraction of them are sold to customers as end products.
