NXT Wash&Wax - 1993 Mustang GT (pics)

Hey guys, this was the first weekend I got to try out my new NXT wash and tech wax on my 1993 GT after waiting two weeks. I was very pleased with the results and the little effort it took to apply and take off the wax. The paint is super sleek now. The only prep done for the wax was an NXT wash. Before all this though, I was washing with Gold Class shampoo and waxing with Gold Class paste. This is the original paint. One of the first things my father said when he saw the car was that it made it darker. It seems to be the car has that wetter look to it. Here are the results! (Pics are compressed)

how do you see where your going?

looks great! do you have any pics with the gold class as comparisons?

I don't have a pic of the car following Gold Class application, but I do have this pic which was taken right after using Meg's clay bar kit in prep for Gold Class.

My car got rained on the same night I applied the NXT. I took this opportunity to capture its water beading power. Hopefully this type of protection will last.

you have to hate it when it rains on your hard work, but at the same time you have to admirre it. those look great!

Thanks, stangman and beercan! Yes there has been some motor work done. Though the side skirts of the car say Mustang GT, the GT upper and lower intakes were replaced with the cobra kit, among other things. Heres a pic:

I thought maybe you were talking about his headlights. They would look good all cleaned up - especially that left one. Meguiar's makes a plastic cleaning solution called; PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish. I seen a before and after on a older SUV (Blazer maybe) that was pretty amazing. I will go searching for it.

Thanks guys! The left headlight looks worse in that pic due to the lighting and lack of reflection coming from it. But I do plan on buying PlastX for all my lights, especially the fog lights. I've seen before and after pics too and the difference is huge!
