I know Meguiars prefers their products to be applied with a "dry" applicator (product only,no water etc) so not to disturb the balance of the product as created by the chenists.
Here's my question. Last week when I Rebuffed my car, it was so hot (even in the garage) the NXT was drying too fast. When I tried to spread it out thin, I ended up removing it as fast as I applied it. My solution was to take the Booster wax and spray a light mist over the panel just prior to applying the NXT. Not only did this allow me to really spread the NXT, it prevented it from being removed as it was applied. This left me with a nice, even complete coating of NXT over the entire surface of the car which I then buffed off after 15 minutes or so.
I just wanted your opinion(s) if this is a valid method for NXT application.
*EDIT* PS After a week of high 80* days with merciless sun, humidity and over 500 miles of high-speed insect suicides, the car beaded like crazy last night when it rained
