  • Foam Bonnet for 10" orbital

    Hello again guys.
I was browsing an online retailer that sells Meguiar's stuff an I came across a foam finishing pad for a 9"- 10" orbital buffers, I was wondering how come it's not in the Meg's catalog...is it a new product?
    Any here's a pic:

    Hey Alex,

Yes, the product is sort of new! Meguiar's had an Ultimate Bonnet in 6.5", 8" and 11" sizes. However, the new bonnets are now part of the Gold Class series of products. I do not know what changes have been made to the bonnets themselves though I will be testing the GC 6.5' bonnets this weekend.

where can these foam bonnets for the orbital be found online, and what steps are best for using the foam bonnet, cleaning, (dc-1) polishing(#80) waxing(#26, gold class) ..

are foam bonnets better than terry cloth bonnets for applying certain products..?

what are the pros and cons to a foam or terry bonnet used witha orbital..?

          thanks.

Read the reply I typed up this morning here,

Microfiber is more gentle to paint finishes than cotton and typically better at removing product, (thus the reason it has become so popular no matter how the material is being used.
