Beginner Question on Ultimate Compound

Hi there,

I'm looking for advice on restoring an older aircraft.

The *slightly* restored part was done with 3M Perfect-It wax and cutting (medium), by my mechanic.

However, I am leaning towards Meguiar's line of products as I've used it on my vehicle.

What would you recommend? I was thinking Ultimate Compound, but open to ideas. Right now, to restore it to a decent shape is within my budget, vs a paint job. And I saw a cool demo on Youtube of Meguiar's UC for a small red car.

Looking for advice on restoring this paint - the 1-minute touch up was done with 3M Cutting Polish and Wax (Medium) - my mechanic recommended it. However, it's for boats. This is an aircraft.

However, I purchased UC after some research on YouTube (when they restored that small red European car with UC) - before I use it, any suggestions on a course of action?
