How does Deep Crystal Car Wash compare to NXT and Gold Class in terms of sheeting water, cleaning ability, suds, slickness, and resistance to water spotting?
I can speek for the Deep Crystal VS the Gold Class...
After using both I prefer Gold Class, the GC has more sudsing than the DC also the GC seems to leave a slicker finish and it also seems much slicker during washing with the slick finish I feel that it helps minimize the contaminates draging over the paint. In my opinion the Gold Class feels like its "floating" over the surface yet removes and cleans very well leaving deeper a looking paint. The Deep Crystal seems to drag over the surface more, it does clean nice but I feel Gold Class is ahead of the Deep Crystal by several steps. From what I have heard the NXT Wash is similar to the GC.
Thanks for the info. I really like the NXT car wash but cannot find it locally at all, even the auto parts stores. That's the People's Republic of Indiana for you. I'll have to reorder direct from Meguiar's when I run out. I like the GC too but I like the NXT even more. It sheets better and leaves an even slicker surface. The best thing is that the NXT is good at resisting water spots.
I also like the NXT better than the #00 which is also a very good car wash. I have never tried the #62 or Detailer #22 because I have not been able to find them either.
I am using Deep Crystal wash cuz thats all i can find. It works well and suds up really nice but i'd like to get some NXT wash. The stores around here are so hit and miss with this stuff.

Sounds Interesting. I just bought another gallon of GC at Target for $10.00...Maybe I'll take it back and swap it for NXT.
Or maybe I'll just buy some NXT anyway If I can find it!
Wal-Mart sold out of NXT quickly and never has restocked it.
hey ramairv1,
being from the republic, I too, have to order every thing. even auto zones around here carries little or no megs! I asked about nxt and just got a wierd look...........but I know where to get the good stuff!
I have all three washes, and I like both GC and NXT.
If you swish around the bottle, you can notice that the DC is thinnest, almost liquid like, and NXT the thickest barely swishes around, with GC being in the middle of the two.
I like the smell and lubricity of the NXT wash the best, but it seems that GC leaves a better finish afterwards, gloss wise.
I have now regulated DC to wheels and tires. Gotta use up those 64 oz. somehow! Good deal at under $4
Wow...this got dug WAY up! The only thing you really don't want to use on fresh, curing paint is a wax/sealant. You can wash away with regular car soap.
