Is All Metal Restorer safe for chrome?

I know the name of it implies that it is safe on "all metal" but it idoesn't mention chrome on the bottle so I just wanted to make sure.

I would certainly think so...I have a bottle on the way from California myself, so, I will give it a try on some chrome and post back with my results...If I don't forget.

I didn't care for the GC Metal Restorer. I used it on the chrome bumpers of my trucks and it seems like it just wants to smear and is hard to get off. I have always used Mothers...sorry guys just like the stuff better. Recently I have been using the NXT wax on it...I will go back to the Mothers most likely.

        Hey,

I really like Meguiar's GC All Metal Restorer. I do understand your comment about the smearing on chrome bumpers. I found that I needed to work the product in longer, then the smearing does not happen.

I have had great using it other places as well:

          Hi Tim,

Did you work this product in by hand, or machine?

            Hey RB,

If you are referring to the chrome bumper, I applied it by hand.

But as for the boat, that was all rotary buffer!!

              Thanks Tim!

I just received a bottle in the mail last week, so I will be trying it out sometime soon.

                Hey RB,

                No Prob!

But like I said, work it in really well before removing.
