  • starting to clean up the car!!

it was nice this afternoon, so i skipped a couple classes to get home early from college to start on the car,
i washed it with dawn, clayed it, washed with car soap, then put on a coat of deep crystal step 1 cleaner
i had to put it up in the garage because of the darkness, but tonight sometime i am going to put on a coat of the deep crystal step 2 polish and then put on a coat of nxt so that it can sit over night so i can apply a second coat tomorrow afternoon

here is a picture right before i put it in the garage after i took off the cleaner, i will post some pictures tomorrow when i am all finished along with a reflection picture of the bottle on the car

ok i am finished for now with the car,
i did what i said above an now these pictures include a coat of DC polish and a coat of NXT, i like it, isnt the best shine ever, but i will see what happens as the day goes on so that it cures
but i am very pleased with how easy it went on and off, well worth the money
I really need to get one of the polishers from meguiars, i eventually will one day, just not anytime soon, unless the deal is just great and can't be passed up

here a couple of pictures, they really dont do the shine any justice, it looks much better in person, camera just ***** and plus i just dont know how to take a good picture at the right angle to get a good shot

let me know what you think

Looks pretty good. I think you would be very happy with the results and the time you will save if you were to purchase the dual action polisher, its worth every penny.

Dang! That looks pretty good for a hand job!

I can see some swirls on the front corner of you car (Or at least I think that's what I'm seeing)...A DA Polisher will take care of those.

Mike Phillips said that Meguiars is putting together a special package that includes the Porter Cable DA Polisher for the online members.
