I made a big oops. A couple weeks ago I left a gallon of milk in the trunk of the car. Found this morning, jug was swelled and a little leaked... yuk. Well I got it all cleaned up and sprayed a heavy dose of megs odor eliminator. Already tons better and hopefully it stays that way. Please pray it works or my wife won't be happy. Lol

Re: cross your fingers... odor eliminator
My gf did this but a half gallon got out, had to replace the carpet.
With only a little spill OE will eventually kill all of the "smell".
You'll just have to treat the area every time the smell returns.
Did you clean the area? Wet dry vac, APC?
Another "smell killer" is an Ozone Generator but I don't think you need that
seeing that OE is working.

I used my extractor with a cleaner to **** it up. After a heavy dose of oe the smell was better but could still smell a little. We were getting In the road so my wife took a dryer sheet and filled with baking soda and put back there for the drive. We were going to my wife's aunts for the weekend the hours away. When we got there I opened trunk, put down back seat, cracked Windows to let it air out and dry. That really helped. After dry I used baking soda as carpet cleaner and spread on carpet and vacuumed. Hit with febreeze my wife's aunt had and smell was gone and can't tell anything happened. Probably would have went away with just oe but I was determined to get gone that day.
