Foam Applicator Pad question

Hi there,

I was wondering about the Gold Class foam applicator pads, the one's with the Meguiars label on one side. It seems to me that the texture of the foam is different on each side, the side with the Meguiars label being more coarse and less densely packed, and the opposite side without the label being more smooth, fine, and densely packed. My question then is this: which side does Meguiars reccommend for applying product?

The foam is supposed to be the same on both sides, (its the same foam formula). I always use the side without the imprint when applying products and that's what we show in our detailing classes.

yea, I just god the nxt paste wax, and I was usin it on my lincoln...I used the purple side...the paste is unbelievable! best stuff I have ever used
