  • Detailing clay application

I bought a jar of Detailing Clay and brought it with me. Now I was about to use it and read the instructions where it says to spray with Final Inspection or Last Touch.

Of course the nearest store is 4000 miles away. Is there something I can use instead?

As far as detailing sprays, you can also use the regular Quick Detailer.

Many people will also just use some car wash soap and water in a spray bottle, or even just while washing.

Just be sure to break the block into smaller pieces.

The "Quik Detailer" that Murr is talking about is the stuff in the maroon bottle.

"Quik Detailler would be just as hard to get. Guess I'll try the local car wash shampoo/wax that I use weekly.

the easy solution is to get a spray bottle and put just a few drops of car wash soap in it.
this works great as a lube for clay. I do it all the time and this is the only thing I use when claying.
